    Terms & Conditions.

    1.  Drivers must have a valid drivers license issued for two years prior to rental.  There is an extra charge per additional driver.  One way rentals subject to certain conditions.

    2.  Drivers must be between the age of 25 to 70 years to rent a car.

    3.  Hirer's legal liability has been arranged and is included in the rental rates unless otherwise stated.

    4.  Only driver's approved at the time of rental are permitted to drive under insurance coverage.  Hegarty's rent a car reserves the right to accept or reject any application for car rental or amend conditions.

    5.  Cancellation Policy:  To receive a full re fund we must be notified at least 14 days prior to pick up date.

    6.  Failure to return car at time and date agreed renders Hirer liable for forfeiture of the refundable deposit.

    7.  Advance Bookings:  Booking fee of €40.00 is required.

    8.  Deposit:  A €320.00 deposit is payable (together with hire charge) at commencement of Hire.  The deposit is refundable at completion of hire if car is un-damaged.

    9.  The Hirer is responsible for checking oil and water regularly and puncture repairs.  In the event of major repairs being required, the hirer should at once get in touch with our office before any work is carried out.

    10.  A reduced Hire Charge applies to drivers who can transfer their insurance from an existing insured vehicle.
